Block Buddies - August (Bill & Marie)

Bill and Marie,

I have your blocks done and will be mailing them out this week. I know it's a little early, especially for Marie's, but if I don't mail them now I might forget!

Bill, I thought I had messed yours up until I went back to the directions and realized it was supposed to be 10x10! I was certain I had made it too small. LOL I loved working with the 1930s repro fabrics and can hardly wait to do a whole quilt in them.

Marie,

I hope you like your block! I have lots of purple/lavender/plum fabrics so it was hard to choose which to use. They all look pretty to me! This was fun to do because it gave me a chance to consider lots of different combinations.

Marie, my block has arrived! Thank you!

Would someone please send me the list of everyone's blocks. I had a serious computer problem and I lost all of my emails and addresses. Luckily, I had my data backed up, just not the emails. I have a new computer now. YAY!

I know I am behind and will catch up soon!

I am so excited...I've got 3 blocks so far and they are each as beautiful as the other...LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM..

Received your 2 blocks today - they are fantastic...and the extra pieces/blockettes, etc. because they can perhaps become a part of a pillow that I'd like to make to go with this quilt....THANKS A MILLION!!!! They are perfect...

THANKS.....Another beautiful block towards my repro quilt - this is going to be a fun Winter project..
