Bedroom Dresser/Mirror before and after

Please look at what I did to my bedroom dresser today and tell me what you think. I removed the wooden mirror that came with the dresser and switched it out for the round starburst one from Z Gallerie. I never could get that wall to look the way I wanted, but finally I feel like it might be working.

Do you think the pictures are hung at the proper height?

i really like the mirror and lamps with the dresser.

Before I read your question about the height of the pics, I did think they looked a bit out of place where they are. It seems as though there should be something to "ground" them. Is there somewhere else you could put them where they are side by side or on top of each other?

    Wow, big improvement!

I do think you need to add something under the pictures.

Perhaps two plants, more pictures, benches, or two small chairs.

Can I have the old mirror?

I like the new arrangement but I am not sure that the wall needs that much symmetry.

I might try the prints one over the other in the corner, with the low one Low, and then look for something different and long for the left side.

I love it! Two chairs would be fabulous for putting on your shoes in the morning.

Beautiful instant update!!! I do agree with others that the pictures don't add anything to that elevation. Could they go over the bed?

Instead of centering the dresser on the long wall, move it to the left. The mirror and lamps are nice updates.

That will open up the corner and allow you to place a small bench or blanket chest to the right of the dresser, and stack the two pieces of art above it, one over the other. A chair instead of the bench/chest would be nice, too.

I love the new look and second Les' suggestions. Sliding the dresser over will have the added benefit of hiding the outlet and cord.

I have a hard time not centering things. That is my weakest area--deciding how to hang art and arrange things. Naturally I want everything to be symmetrical.

I really like it, but then in our current home I'm really into symmetry. I've not always been that way, but sometimes it just feels better. And to me if it feels good to you then that's how you do it. It's one of those personal things I think.
Do you have a couple small chairs to go on either side perhaps?
