    UGH!!!

I think some of them are very interesting.

    no, absolutely not.

Some I definitely wouldn't have in my home, but there are some that I found interesting in a good way. If I were decorating with those colors, I might be inclined to use some of them.

    Are these your works?

Thank you all for your opinion. Yes, those pictures are mine.

They wouldn't fit the style of my home, but I could certainly see them in the right setting.

green.jacek90 - this forum is the wrong age demographic for your style of art. You need to test them with a younger group, IMO.

While some are interesting, I would not buy or display any in my home.

A few things look like they are influenced by Shepard Fairey...

sorry if I sounded huffy...originally, I thought your post was spam...honestly, this art is something I could see fitting into a loft or urban type setting.

I showed these to my 39 yr old son; he really liked them.

Good luck and lots of success with your artwork if this is a profession you're pursuing.

I find most of them very interesting and would hang in my home, especially somewhere I could really study them as there is a lot to discover about them. I especially like the green/yellow images and the curly headed girl. The only one that doesn't appeal to me aesthetically is the guy in the space suit.

Not really my style...but I do like a couple of them. I agree that these would probably appeal to a younger (possibly teenager) crowd. I do like computer art though and encourage you to continue your work. You might check to see if there are shows in your local where you can display your work. Have fun!!!

I don't think they are "decorating" pictures, they are art. Art is a very personal thing. I like many of them.

One needs to be careful, thought. This MIGHT be considered using the forum as advertising...and that is a no-no here. Read the terms of use. A better way would have been to ID yourself, cut and paste a few, and then provide the link to your site if asked for it. I THINK that would be allowed.

Absolutely yes. Its a little bit like outsider art. I would probably not hang it in a bedroom:)

Actually...there are a couple I REALLY like. What is the medium? They look like screen prints...ARE they for sale? You can email me via my gardenweb account...assuming that feature is working. (Sometimes it doesn't.)

I am assuming this is friendly SPAM since Jack registered today but I do hope he does well in his endeavor.

I like the spaceman one and would hang that in my home if I was in the market for wall art and the price was reasonable to me. None of the others seem to have any 'ooomph' as a stand alone piece but could be done in a wall grouping in a lobby or something.

I agree with Palimpset that it looks like outsiders art but, as a trained artist, I can see this person has had training. I find all of them very creative and several of them very artistic and could be used in many settings. You definitely could find a market for them. There is a site Wetcanvas.com that will critique your work and see others too, Check it out. Try selling a few on Ebay. Good luck,

If it's SPAM it's poorly thought out...I saw no link to a place where one could purchase. Just a photobucket account...

If you don't have an Etsy shop, you might want to set one up. Also, check out Apartment Therapy, which is a younger, urban crowd (or purports to be, anyway.) I liked the Aboriginal influences in some of the works.

It appears he/she has or will have an ebay site under the name neonaive2010 but at the moment I'm not finding it.

I like some of them too -- a lot -- and would certainly find a place for one in my home. But I agree with the spammy feeling. It is too bad about the spam rules sometimes. I understand trying to keep out the electric plug in waterfall "art" from China. Interesting to note how this artist was received. Better quality, a smidge more subtlety and he/she did not get hounded and harassed. We're such a civilised bunch.

    Some of them, I would.

    All but the simpson-esque one.

Why are we so quick to accuse someone of spam? While I waited a read a bit before actually posting, I would guess that there are many here who joined and posted in the same day.

I agree with an above response - the pictures would not work in my home, but I can see many of them in the right setting.

    Good luck!

Not my style - I'm 27. I think it just depends on the style the person is into.

It's not an "accusation" it is just a fact. Our new friend "Jack" has posted this same identical short message all over other discussion boards.

Oh look! He must have been cleaver enough to run the words "Would you hang any of these pictures on your wall ?" through BableFish so he can post on Polish decorating boards.

    http://forum.projektowaniewnetrz.eu/czy-powiesilibyscie-cos-takiego-na-sciane--t1052.html

Since he comes up on so many Polish boards I am thinking he is actually using a translator program to post here in English. Jack posts under other names on other boards too. I am waiting for someone else who has *just registered today* to just happen to stumble upon this thread and fall in love with his work and BEG for contact info to be posted so they can be purchased.

So English is his second language...and he probably can't read the terms of use. Fine. Send a complaint to the moderators/admins of the board and they'll eliminate the thread.

SO WHAT DILLY_DALLY?????!!!!!! Is he trying to sell you anything? He's just posted some of his work just like many of us do (because a picture of your room is also your work, isn't it?) He has not posted a link to his store or anything like that! DD you must have a lot of time on your hands !!!!
I assumed Green Jack just asked us for our opinion - what is wrong with that?

I'm not getting what the big problem is either. And I do think there's a difference between some of the offensive spam we get and this since there is (so far) no site link. Rules may be rules but there are subtleties in life and this doesn't feel like blatant site abuse to me.

I followed the Photobucket link above and then went on to the main view which shows what's in the album. From there, the profile shows all the albums, one of which is empty and titled *****lukasz4432's Profile / All Albums / visit ebay user id - neonaive2010*****, but as I said above there is nothing at ebay. So..... IF this is intended to direct us to a place to buy, it's either not set up yet or sold out. I think it's a kind of market test to discern interest and various audiences. Again, that may not follow the letter of the law around here, but I'm not finding this offensive. I've gone back a couple of times to take a closer look and some of the pieces are quite growing on me!

He is now selling on ebay and has asked for suggestions on tweeking his listings. English is not his primary language, by the way. I think he's just looking for opinions here as to whether his artwork is marketable or not. I wish him luck.

I don't consider this spam and I hope he's not kicked off because someone reports this thread.

One of his listings can be found by searching for 160442026660

Here is a link that might be useful: artwork

I live in a very eclectic house and a victorian...and I could find a space in them for this type of work. It's quirky and very good :) I think it's the type of art that makes you go hummmm and perhaps smile and look again.

To me, art, or fine art, has to have a reason for being; even abstract. An example would be Picasso's "Guernica.". It is an expression of the terrible pain of war, maybe even better than a photograph. Or Jackson Pollack, expressing the power of the medium without the precise control of prior paintings, or Marc Chagall's dreamlike memories. All of these were done with technical skill and had intellectual import. They invited the viewer to think about the work rather than require them to. And you are rewarded on a intellectual and viseral level, both. The artists are giving us a view of their cognative process and they display depth. For me, none of these works meet that criteria. I have a Chinese scroll painting hanging in my house because it is beautiful, but I don't think these are even that. So, I would not hang them in my house. But then, what do I know. I recall the artist who fed her baby different food each day, framed the pooped diapers, and sold them to the British Museum of Art where they were on display. I wouldn't hang them in my house either.

Your work looks like folk art to me, which is a genre that I really love. I have everything from 19th century oils to kid's tissue paper art hung in my house so I am sure I could find a place for one of your pieces. In my area, I think your work would do well at a nicer traveling craft/art show.

I really like the second and the sixth ones.
