I'm in the middle of a whole home remodel. We scoured a million different cabinet options -- from cabinet-makers to online cabinet stores. We ended up going with Bridgewood Advantage cabinets: http://www.bridgewoodcabinets.com/ Someone on GW's kitchen forum recommended the line (or maybe it was their less expensive American Value line, I forget).

They're all wood, soft-close doors and drawers, Blum hardware, and pretty custom. After spending years on GW's kitchen forum, I had a lot of special requests, and our cabinet guy was able to figure out everything -- and at much less than some of the standard brands (e.g. Kraftmaid, Shrock, etc).

They don't sell this line in-store in the Bay Area, but I worked with their west coast distributor, Rob, and he was great. He came to the site and measured a couple of times, met with me at my home, brought cabinet boxes for me to see, let me keep a sample for my shopping, and is really quick via email or phone.

I HIGHLY recommend this line. Well, it's being delivered next Wednesday, so check in with me again then :)
