Rohl Modern Arch Faucet

I am currently in the process of remodeling our kitchen. I am torn up deciding which faucet to select. I have purchased the Kohler 45 inch stages sink. I am considering the Rohl Modern Arc pull down faucet. But I can't decide between the high spout or the regular spot. The high spout is three inches taller for a total of 19" high. The regular is 16" high. This is a very expensive faucet and I want to be sure of the height. The last thing I want is a faucet that splashes because it's too high! How can I also tell if the hose will have sufficient reach to all corners? Is there a calculation?

If you post the specification sheets for both the sink and the faucets it will be easier to show you how to make the best decision. Those can be found on the manufacturers website for each product.

The article on the link below explains explains how to figure out whether the faucet fits and sink and gives some basic info. Hopefully it will help you see how the pieces fit together.

The faucet projection and drain position would line up well.

But by my reading, the hose is 20-inches long on the taller faucet; 26" long on the shorter faucet. 26" is a very good length for a large sink.

The actual bowl size on the sink looks to be about 34". If the faucet lined up over the drain you'd need 21" of hose to reach the larger end of the sink.

This is one of my favorite faucets. It should be just ok but ideally, I'd want a pull down with a hose long enough to rinse down the platform.

I've seen this sink with 2 Kohler Karbon faucets installed. My suggestion is to do a call out on the forum for Stages 45 sink pix and see what people use.

I'd also call Kohler and ask for suggestions. I'd also ask them for the ideal hose length for a pull down faucet with this sink.

If they suggest a faucet and it's a pull down, then ask the hose length which are sometimes not specified (so boring).

But, it's a huge sink and I wouldn't want a short faucet to look puny. Scale of the faucet vs the sink is definitely a factor as is what's behind the faucet -- i.e. how the height of the faucet lines up with a window or whatever is behind it. That can influence the choice of height as well.

Wish this was an easy yes/no but it's a bit complex.
