I don't like green in a bathroom as it tends to cast a green shade on you when you look in the mirror...sort of seasick. But BM soft fern is a nice shade of green if you want to go that way.

Yep green in the bathroom is not kind to anyone!!!

I did it and then had to repaint.

What about green in the dining room or kitchen? Isn't it even worse if people look sea sick while eating the food you prepared?

From a recent BHG. The large shade on the left is SW Aloe SW6464. I think it would be a lovely bath color. Green with the right hint of blue. FWIW, the retro bathroom in my old house was painted a bright shade of green when we bought it. It grew on me ad we kept it and I never got seasick. :-)

    SW Rainwashed or Sea Salt?

Don't know if the name has changed, but my master bath has SW Pale Artichoke - light, soft, not too minty and works well with travertine-like tile I used.

We have soft fern in our Tahoe house and it is very nice and reads pretty neutral. In our new house we just painted the master bath and bedroom mirage grey (also BM), which is a soft yummy green, very tranquil.

I was working with 50's pale buttercream tile with British racing green accent tile. I used Pratt&Lambert Georgian Green mixed as BM Aura. It is a nice soft pale green.

There is a lot of natural light in the room and we don't look green in the mirror. I was afraid we might seem jaundiced with yellow and green tile and green walls, but that didn't prove to be the case.

I used BM Fernwood in my LR and BM Aura Spa in a sitting room and like both in those locations.
I should disclose that green is my favorite color, so I wouldn't mind a bit of green glow!

I just did BM Quiet Moments with White Dove trim and love it. It is technically a light gray that reads green/blue. I have found that I have better luck choosing a calming green color with BM when I don't look at their greens and look at grays, browns, whites that read green. Hope this helps!

I like green for a bathroom. Personally I think I look fine against a green backdrop and dont feel seasick at all! But maybe I am just fooling myself. My last master was a soft green. Oddly enough called Softened Green (by SW), and then I had a shade lighter in my master bedroom called Liveable Green. Which oddly enough, I found to be quite a liveable shade. Those paint namers at SW deserve a pat on the back.

A couple more for you to check out!

I have Valspar Lyndhurst Castle Sand in my main living area and is a really pretty shade of "neutral" green. I've gotten a lot of compliments.

The sample online looks beige but it isn't in natural lighting, at all.

I had it color matched in another paint but the matching was pretty much right on.
