Do you have any information that may help

Awww, my budget dining room makeover! I had been searching for a dining room set for many, many months when I finally found this on Craigslist for a steal earlier this year.

It's a Thomasville set from the 1960s or early 70s (not sure what year) and was a very high-end, expensive set back then. It came with 3 leafs and a cabinet though I'm not a china cab kinda person, it works in the room. The style of the set is not my usual taste, but the simplicity attracted me to it. Love the inlay on the table. I admire it a lot and get compliments on the set. I plan to re-upholster the chair cushions.

From a previous post I wrote, I know there are a few GWers that grew up with this set and they may be able to inform us on the year it was made so I posted another pic showing the whole set.

Would love to see a picture of sis's set. Hope thus helps.

I found this server from another CL poster and it happens to coordinate well with the DR set. The top flips open so it works perfectly as a bar.

THANKS! Deb - looks lovely -
I'll see if I can get sis to take pic & send it to me.

They had a drawer pull that needed a screw & had the hardest time finding one, making them wonder if it was a European brand - many trips to hardware store & still no proper screw size.
    Your DR is lovely
    thanks

Just beautiful. That was when Thomasville was really top-of-the-line good furniture. Deb, I was thinking Thomasville was inscribed or burned into the drawers or backs of the furniture. I only have one piece of Thomasville left and it's in the storage house and it's 3 miles from here. Does yours have Thomasville branding?

Thanks jejvtr & patricia. Yes, it's inscribed in one the the china cabinet drawers, and that's the only place I've seen it. If it wasn't for that, I'd have no idea what brand the table & chairs are.
