Help! I'm lost on what backsplash to choose do you have pics

HI, I'm new to the site. I was hoping that someone might be able to help me with a backsplash to go with either black granite or verde butterfly granite countertops in kitchen. I will also have an island and don't know if should keep it the same or change to maybe a white marble. I'm going to stick with basic white cabinets and medium brown hardwoods. Thank you for any help!

We have verde peacock granite, which is similar to the verde butterfly you're considering using, plus white cabs and medium brown hardwood floors. We went with white subway tiles and are so happy with the results. It reads classic and the contrast between the white cabs and dark counters looks great. Love the idea of using marble on the island to break it up a bit!!
