First, the good news. The tile was laid today and I don't think I could be more pleased. Grouting tomorrow. Unfortunately, the drywall patching and texture (not to mention the pain job) that finished yesterday looked so terrible that I got an opinion on correcting it and was told that most of the drywall needs to be removed because it was over mudded and it can't be fixed with just texture. It looks so awful...will post pics at some point. And DH wanted to have the original guy come out to fix his own work, but I have no faith in this guy and never want to see him again. So no cabinet install on Thursday...maybe Monday. And more $ to correct this problem. But hey, the tile looks great anyway.
