I'd be affraid to chance that. Why don't you take a piece of the glass and test it by putting whatever you think you'd put on it at the table to see if it breaks.

I have done it a lot and have not had any prob.

Well, I may try to test it or just try it anyway. Nana, good to hear yours have not cracked. I found the prettiest wooden leaf at the thrift store and thought it would look good with some interesting green glass. Thanks for the input.
