Are my casement windows installed properly? Help!

We just got our windows put into our new home. We love the windows.. but when I looked up close on the inside of our home, there is a screen on the INSIDE-- the ones that are casement windows! Is this how they are supposed to be? How will I clean my windows with a screen on the inside face of the window?

yes. thats the way casements are made.

You will clean your casement window by removing the screen, opening the window which should cause it to off-set from the frame about 6" and then reach thru to the outer pane. Did you really purchase windows without checking them out and seeing an actual sample?

Okay, I'm sorry for asking what was apparently such a dumb question. Sheesh. I was looking for help, since this is my first time to build a home. I'll look elsewhere for advice next time. Thanks.
