I want to paint a small, blonde, dining room table to a darker finish. This is in our 'breakfast' nook off the kitchen and gets everyday abuse. The light fixture over the table is an oil rubbed bronze look. The rest of the room in a Tuscan/Sunflower theme.

Is there a paint color which would give me the rich dark finish I want without being black?
