Best wall color for foyer ?

Hi,

We are planning to decorate our foyer/entryway and would like to know what you think about the walls color. Currently the four walls are the classic beige color. We just bought a new rug and wanted to confirm if the current beige color is ok with the rug ? I was thinking about painting an accent wall (right wall on the photo) a navy blue or paint all four walls dark grey.

What do you think ??

Color is gorgeous. Leave it! I agree add touches of metallic's. Whichever you are drawn to. There are many accents that would work well if you need a shot of color. Raspberry, Navy, Deep purple, a deep rich tone of turquoise. Make it your own. It is the depth of color and the richness of tone that is important. Don't do it in Paint,add it in objects. And add some light soft white tones as well to bring a spark to the space. Enjoy it. Your home should reflect you. Fell your way through the color.

It is looking a little beigey! Maybe the navy accent would help. Grey's getting a little tired!

I think it looks great! How about adding a colorful picture? Where did you get the rug? I love it & have been looking for one.

It's spot on. Keep the colors as is. :) and I am picky.

I like it as is, although something about the space seems to be calling for some sparkle. Maybe a special mirror, fabulous chandelier or glam console would do.

I think the wall color could have a touch a gray just to give some contrast to the floor.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. Much appreciated. I will keep the walls the same color. I have walnut bench and walnut mirror that should give the foyer more character.

I love the wall color with the rug and trim, it looks great. I would suggest adding pillows to the bench and more colorful accents on the wall. You're on the right track!
