Can you please clarify whether it's quartzite or granite?

this is as flat of a picture as I have. and this is Lumex. Its fairly rare, around here anyway. Not sure about your area. It has a ton of quartzite in it. Its very hard, dense. Looks like Superman's cave

The slabs came out of a wholesaler in Chicago and I used my local stone shop to fabricate them for my client. They are amazing.
