When you say you're looking for a complementary color, do you mean another paint color in the same room with the Bleeker Beige - i.e., one color above chair rail and one below, or just one wall painted another color? Or, are you talking about Bleeker Beige in one of his rooms, and a different color for his other room? Or, do you mean another color for fabrics, accents, etc?

If you mean two paint colors that complement each other in the same room with that quilt, I think red always looks nice with navy and beige.

The first thing I thought of when seeing the pic was something in a blue gray.It would compliment the bedding.

Sorry, I posted without a color suggestion! I am too fast for my own good! Anyway, I tried to find a BM gray that didn't lean too green or purple. I came up with BM Bunny Gray 2124-50 or the next one down which is Thundercloud Gray 2124-40. I think either would compliment the BB and the bedding.

kmcg85: I have an older BM fandeck so I don't have any of the 2000 numbers. I'll have to look it up online. Thanks for the suggestions.

My fan deck is older (8 years) also. It is the color preview deck. Another color I came across today at the BM store was Collingwood OC28. A light gray. Very pretty.

I finally got a chance to get to the paint store and the grays you suggested are very pretty. I got a sample of the Thundercloud Gray (liked the cool name) and just painted a sample on DS's wall. I also picked up samples of SW Hopsack, Latte and Kilim Beige. I brought one of DS's pillow shams and the guys at SW suggested these colors. Now it's time to wait and see them dry.
