Sold out - how much was it?

$449... guess they needed to get rid of them since the model is old.

I am over 60, and I bought an ipad about 6 months ago. I LOVE it, particularly when I'm travelling. If I can operate one, anyone can. I can get my email, my internet, play my solitaire, and do anything on it I can do on my computer. Now, IF they would make the iphone ipad sized, I'd get one as I like the bigger screen, which I can SEE, and when someone sends me pictures to my phone, I have to transfer them either to my computer or my ipad to tell what they really are. My grandchildren think I'm a cool Gwanny also as I have the ipad. It also has plenty of kid games loaded on it. Oh yes, it's also my Kindle, and that was another reason I bought it--I wanted a Kindle, but opted for the ipad so I could have it ALL. I can easily access GW when I'm away from home, the other plus. I also love watching myself travel on the map feature, love the little pulsing blue dot. The calendar keeps me up with all my appointments, and other features are great. I am a spaz on a laptop finger pad and prefer a laptop mouse, but the finger touch ipad works for me. It's simple. Can't say enough good things about my ipad.

Well it was worth a try posting it. I have a mini laptop I take on vacations.

I love mine, too. And my i-phone. It's the first time in my entire life that I have felt like one of the cool kids. Had to be dragged, kicking and screaming, into the tech era. I kept my old generation phone a ridiculously long time, just to annoy my children. Finally, the mega-puppy tried to eat the old phone, rendering it no longer functional. I suspect one of the DSes put him up to it, but no one's talking.
Nevertheless, I am not thrilled when dinner guests pull out their i-devices during dinner. Bugs the @%$* out of me.
