Backsplash, Backsplash, Backsplash?
Comments (52)I definetly think you should get something lighter to contrast the dark kitchen. As well as a personal and unique touch. We make handmade and costummade glass backsplashes - when it comes to colour, size, form, symbolics, lightning solutions and so on there are endless possibilities :-) www.brankalugonja.dk/artdesign...See MoreWanted: Back-splash colors and ideas for my new kitchen in Florida
Comments (24)Statement Tile in Seattle carries a wide variety of marble tiles. They can easily ship anywhere the tile and samples to you. Marble tile is very porous, so make sure you seal the tile with a 15 to 20 year penetrating sealer to help prevent stains. Also consider Laticrete Spectralock Epoxy Grout, which never needs sealing, it is resistant to stains, it will not mild or mildew and doesn't chip out like you old grout. For more information regarding this check out my houzz page/ in my ideabook. Here are some other ideas with marble tiles. Comments (9)what brand of wood look tile is that? if you want upscale, you need to bring in something that doesn't have large grout lines. With your color granite, I'd pick something lighter. look at the blonde wood in the picture next to your tile, below. I don't suppose you'd be open to trying diff flooring? 12x24 porc. tileporc. tile NuTravertinewood look tile in a chestnut. from tilebar Home Depot, French Oak in Nougat there are at least 50 diff backsplash options you can go with. Post back once the cabs are painted and the old one is torn out. You can't do anything till then anyway. I hope you will repainting the walls too? If you want to keep that very gold countertop, a cool blue paint color isn't the best choice. Is that a florescent light? Is there any way you can do some canned lights or exchange that florescent? I would also consider less traditional, heavy stools. (you're the one that said you wanted 'more upscale'. I'm just giving you options on how to do that. painting cabs and adding backsplash isn't enough)...See Moresandra12
