My kitchen is a mess and but remodeling is not in the budget right now so I am painting to freshen things up. I am going to repaint the cabinets white and I read on someones blog that she painted and then did a coat of clear non-yellowing poly over what is your opinions on that and I have cabinet hardware/fixtures that I thought I was going to replace but after cleaning I found out they are brass. They were tarnished so after much cleaning they look really nice. I am wondering if there is a way to keep them looking nice.
