We have Kichlers; have to jiggle or tap some of the individual lampholders to make them turn on (some of the same ones each time, some take turns). I haven't checked with Kichler to find out if they/ve corrected for this at all (ours has been in installed for a little over a year at this point).

The xenon strip light that I purchased from Pegasus is 4 small lights in a "bar." All of the other lights I bought were puck lights, and in retrospect I'm wondering if I would have been better off with 3 or 4 pucks -- strictly as a design choice and not a comment on quality. Dunno if that helps you too much.

I chose Kichler xenon box lights over the linear strips because of the problem of loose bulbs as has been noted. I love the light the box lights give off. They flood light on my countertop. I have them wired to a wall switch.

I have Kichler Linear lights and I love them. I haven't had any issue that required me to have to "jiggle" one of them back on. I have had them about 6 months now.

We have Juno which are wired to a wall switch. Haven't had any problems with them - no jiggling required. We discussed Seagull with our architect and electrician - both told us that Seagull gets too hot (but I don't have first hand experience - just hearsay).
