We currently have copper tiles as a 6" backsplash in our original 1968 kitchen. My grandmother has them in her kitchen as well (salvaged when they renovated). I love the look of it! I was wondering two things:

1) would it look out of place in our planned Craftsmen inspired kitchen?

2) Does anyone have any pictures of a copper backsplash? We won't try to salvage our existing tiles as there are far too few of them. Any resources?

We're planning a large south facing kitchen with a 9-10 foot bank of windows and ginger (cherry) colored birch cabinets, dark granite counters and a variegated (existing) birch floor.
