Stunning! And what an interesting and fun surprise to expect legs as I was scrolling down and find none there! That was worth your wait... it's beautiful!

    Cool!

I like it! Old fashioned enough for me; modern enough for you!

Is it wrong to find your own bathroom just plain sexy?

LOVE IT! Love the floatiness! LOVE the tiles!!

That's beautiful! love it. Did it come with the marble top, or did you add that. Also love the glass tile - nice job.

Thanks all. It came with the marble top, sink, and faucet. Gotta love craigslist.
Here's the other end with my tubbie. Not the biggest bathroom in the world but it's the biggest one I got in this house!

Like others said, it seems to have this mix of modern and nostalgia. Interesting and elegant!

That really is one SEXY bathroom!!!!
I love the floating vanity idea, I'm mentally kicking children's step stools under it right now...... not that I would let children in a bathroom like that.....

Seriously, it's beautiful, the wood, the shape of it, the marble, those drawer pulls and the gorgeous green mosaic accent. I've never seen anything like it so I'd say it's unique to boot. Fabulous!

If I'm this excited about seeing the bathroom come together... I can't imagine how I'll be when the kitchen comes together.

    soooooo blingy!

Remodelfla, could you tell me if you are planning soapstone in your kitchen. It's possible (but not in stone, although he did say tonight to get what I want) that husband is coming around to soapstone. I'm not sure where you are but I am in Palm Beach County. Perhaps a Josh share on commute and schedule? Let me know if you could.

I did consider soapstone... very seriously. Two things stopped me. The kind i most love is the Santa Rita... veininess galore. But... also the softest of the the stones. I could live easily with patina but it also chips and gouges. Secondly, I'm just not feeling a dark ground stone in my kitchen. Love the look of "busy" soapstone; but the "blackness" of it is not for me. If I didn't oil/wax it;I'd lose the veiny part that makes me love it so much in the first place. Wish there was a lighter color SS cause I really love the idea and feel of the material.

I wish I didn't feel this way cause I would LOVE to have Josh do the work knowing the job would be absolutely perfect.

Remodelfla, me too sort of, I do not want to go black and want a harder stone but unlike you I do not want a lot of veining (just a little to very little). I saw a granite stone I loved called meteorus velvet and am going to see the big slab Tuesday (also have two others on list). I am hoping to make my mind up by Tuesday or Wednesday. I never though it would be so hard to find an organic looking med grey stone that I can have honed. Husband is getting warn out with me and the stone search and last night told me to go ahead and get soapstone. ItÂs mostly money stopping me because I did not want to go past a certain amount on budgetÂitÂs looking like I may have to but IÂm giving it one more shot, then I can tell myself I at least tried.
IÂm taking the camera let me know what you are looking for and if I see it IÂll take a few pictures.

I know I'm looking for something like Calcutta Oro or a Danby Marble for my bakers table. That is unless I find a quartzite I love. I'm leaning toward light. However, I also love Yellow River, really anything on the lightish end that has rivers of color running through it. Please let me know if you come across some really good stone yards or a great fabricator. I have a line on two highly recommended fabricators. Both out of Miami I believe. Don't have they're names or numbers yet.
