Diamond Brand cabinets vs Aristokraft cabinets?

I know they are both made by the same manufacturer. We want white thermofoil for the easy cleaning. We have pricing from two places one for Diamond and one for Aristokraft. So far the reviews for the Aristokraft haven't been the greatest, only found a couple for the Diamond but those haven't been great either. Anyone have them, like them? Would recommend them? Thanks!

I have experiences with both. The doors will be similar, the boxes will be different. Plastic corner braces and a 5 yrar warranty vs. I bream stretcher rails and a lifetime warranty for Diamond. Drawer slide hardware will be better with diamond. Depends on what your plans for the house are. Assuming you are remodeling, and planning to stay in the house a bit, Diamond is usually the better choice. Make sure you install heat shields around your stove.

I have (from builder) the Aristocraft Antique White Thermafoil cabinets. They are 6 years old now and still look brand new. Very easy to maintain and I have an enormous amount of cabinets . My choice was to upgrade from a basic wooden cabinets to a lighter look and not too expensive so I bought the thermafoil. I am happy with the cabinets but the installation could have been better. Some doors look slightly uneven to me when I look across the bottom edge but that is installation not the cabinets. Good luck.

Thank you for the information! Looks like we have a vote for each type! Not sure that helped me much but it is nice to know that both types are okay! We were planning on going with the upgraded doors and slides with the Aristocraft brand if we go with those. The Diamond does not have the arched thermofoil which we like better than the plain squared.

Diamond is a much more flexible product line and therefor should be more expensive. Aristokraft has built its name as the affordable american cabinet but like everything having a accepted brand name just means you can charge more for them. I have several american made brands in my store that lower in price then Aristokraft and much more flexible in choice of cabinets. I have access to Aristokraft but do not promote them as they are generally not the best deal. Most of the thermofoil finishes tend to peal off over time. I personally would get a painted finish before a thermofoil. The quality of the finish between the cabinets lines is not easy to judge.

Thanks for the additional information. I have thermofoil in my shop and it is 10 years old, very easy to wipe clean which is why I wanted it for the house too. I clean/wipe the cabinets A LOT so really wasn't sure how a painted cabinet would hold up for me and the painted was a lot more expensive than the thermofoil.
