I think it would look completely charming if it looked like a stone house with brick bump-out-y bay bits. Like so...

Wondering if you could do something (well, a lot of something) for me?

Make the overhang by the doorway into a full overhang that covers the main front section - the door and the window area to the left, rather than just the door area. Probably have to keep the two posts and then add a third one on the left side, of course.

Do that area in stone, but with the timber gable front all the way across.

Then stone on the bump-out with the bay, all the way up to the top of that section.

All the rest of the house in brick. Take out the little arched vents over the two left bump-outs and change them to timber insets that match the timber framing over the front entry area.
