I LOVE Weir's stores -- really gorgeous furniture and supernice employees! Yes -- you CAN sit on the furniture and if you need a coffee or a sugar cookie -- there's a small "General Store" section with lots of goodies. I do recommend the cookies!

Of course -- my fav section is the clearance floor. Love to head up there -- and just see if my brain can think of places and ways to use those "leftovers and bargains" Just a pity that my little house is already crammed full -- there have been some extraordinary deals up there! :)

If anyone heads down to the store on Knox-Henderson -- there are some great stores all around there too! Love to have a grilled cheese at the soda fountain at the old classic Highland Park Pharmacy next door .....

i miss weirs - used to live just across the freeway in the m streets - but now we are in NC. it's amazing to me that i can get better furniture deals at Weirs than in NC.

DH and I bought our formal dining furniture at Weir's when we were first married and living in Dallas 21 years ago. I loved that store on Knox Street! We still have the furniture! Wish we had a Weir's in Austin!

Sure wish we had furniture stores like that here in Baltimore.All that and cookies too! sheesh. luckies. Sue
