I have bought every rug in my home from Rugs Direct except one and we have all hardwood, no carpet at all, so that is a lot of rugs! I have been totally thrilled with *almost every rug and they have EXCEPTIONAL customer service. If you call to order, ask for Scott Garthwaite and tell him that Laura recommended him. :) I am lucky because I live less than an hour from their Winchester, VA showroom and the rugs that have not worked for me I have been able to return myself and so have avoided paying return shipping. However, their policy is a 30 day return, no questions asked so this does give you time to try the rug out in your room and then return it if the total look it is not what you had hoped for.

Consider ordering the smallest size to check out in your room. If it works, you can order the larger one and either keep the small one or not as you like, and if it doesn't thrill you as much in person you're not out the small fortune it can cost to ship a big rug back.
