Ariel Sinks-- Anyone Familiar With Ariel?

I am considering an Ariel single-bowl stainless-steel sink because the 26-inch sink has bowl dimension of 24 inches-- a bit larger than the typical sink while still fitting within a 30-in cabinet. I had never heard of Ariel but they are available through eBay and Amazon. My other choice is a Kraus KHU101-23, but the bowl dimension on the Kraus is 21 inches. A few more inches would be nice.

I want a 16 gauge sink, not 18 or 20. 14 gauge would be great, but I doubt that is available. Julien is out of my price range. Zero-radius looks nice, but I hear it is rather difficult to keep clean. Thus, I am looking at sinks with some curvature at the junctures.

After much research, we chose the Ariel 26" 15mm radius sink (16gauge premium grade T-304 stainless steel construction with an 18/10 chromium/nickel composition) The slight curvature still gives the feeling of a zero-radius corners with the added benefit that there are no places for debris to hide. It looks high end and fits the understated look for the small kitchen and is all of a piece with the stainless appliances, including the attractive Samsung gas range/ 30" over range microwave pair which mimic the 15mm radius.

It is undermounted on a walnut 1.75 inch deep butcher block peninsula. The depth of the counter makes the sink appear even deeper. Our choice was a Goldilocks conundrum: Not too big, not too small, but just right. We didn't want the sink to overpower the 4 foot deep, 88 inch long eat-at counter. This was the only sink that had the right dimensions. It looks great . It is perfect for washing big items.

My only problem is that I am looking for a protective grid. I want to place things in the sink to drain at a little elevation without backwater more than I am looking for protection. If you find one, I would like to know about it.

Can't help with brand, but FWIW, zero radius corners are not as difficult to clean as all that. We have a Julien zero radius sink and I don't have trouble cleaning it at all.

I have seen many Ariel sinks on the market. (In fact, I have one in my kitchen now) They seem to have more size selection than the common market. I believe if I am not mistaken, they are the only one who carries 26"? It would be ideal for a 30" cabinet that allows you to maximize the bowl size for more room.

Zero Radius are typically not very hard to clean in my opinion and does provide a very contemporary sleek look for a modern kitchen.

Hello All! I have an Ariel 33” SS sink and have been asked to confirm if extra support is required prior to installation. Does anyone know. May Day call as needed prior to ordering kitchen cabinets.

DON'T BUY ARIEL SINK PRODUCTS! The cheap sink steel scratched the first time I used the sink AND now it has scratches water stains all over it just a month after use. I have to constantly use CLR to clean it. THIS PRODUCT IS A RIP OFF.

Any other comments on Ariel sinks? I am contemplating this 42" undermounted one that is a double bowl with drainboard. It's 16 gauge, 304 grade stainless. I'd prefer one with the drains further to the back, but this one may be in contention.

DON'T BUY THIS SINK! The problem is that the defective steel gets water stains and rust all over it. It's a poor grade, inferior product that should be removed from the market. Ariel makes horribly flimsy products but they're just as expensive as the ones that are high quality. I'm sure they're getting sinks returned, but this is tough to do once you've cut a hole in your countertop to install it. I'm so sorry I bought this inferior product.
