faucets and gadgets at the sink- How many do U have?

We are going to have a 30" Kohler Whitehaven tall apron front sink in white. Our plan is to have a single hole pull down spray faucet. I love the look of the bridge faucet but I find you can't beat the function of the pull down spray. This time function won out over form.

We also plan to have a soap dispenser and an instant hot with cold filtered water dispenser. Lastly there is the garbage disposal. I would like the have the air switch as opposed to the wall switch or batch feed but I am worried the sink will be too cluttered with gadgets. SO my questions are:

1. if you have a 30" sink and a bunch of gadgets can you post a picture?

2. Can the air switch for the disposal be installed away from the sink just a bit to relieve some of the clutter? If so, does anyone have a picture of this?

Thanks!

This sink has quite a few accessories. It is a 30" sink. There is a soap dispenser to the left, then the faucet, a hand spray and on the right a filter faucet. Thought it might be helpful to see. As far as the air switch - sure it can be moved away from the sink. It just needs to be in a convenient location for you to use when you are at the sink. There is no set rule for the location of the air switch.

Trying again, hoping the photo will upload.

The air switch hardly counts - it's pretty much flat and the size of a quarter. I don't think it will look cluttered. drachiele's doesn't look cluttered to me, and you'll have one less thing because your spray is incorporated.

I think Breezy's sink looks great. I am doing the same thing as you--pull down, instant hot, soap and air switch on a 30" sink and I am not concerned about clutter. I think it will look fine.

Thanks for the input. I think I was also envisioning some of the motion sensors for faucets rather than the air switch. You are right the air switch is very small.

Breezy: Even though the sink is 16" it was helpful. I do not think it looks crowded at all.

Drachiele: That is a very cool faucet! Thank you also for the input.
That helps to put my mind to rest about at least that issue!!Now to worry about the other million and one things that run through my mind every night!

You're welcome, p.ball. At times it seems like every time you cross one decision or worry off the list, two more pop up! It will slow down one day.

Keep in mind where the handle is on your faucet. I have a 25 in. sink and had to put my soap dispenser on the opposite side of the handle because it seemed too crowded on the handle side. Notice that Breezy moved her handle to the front.

    Good point mayflowers. Thank you!

Hey Breezy, what's an air switch? Thanks!

I'm still going around and around with the builder about the BA. I feel like I'm beating me head against a slab of it! A slab I want to see and pick myself! hah. Did get the approx sqft though, so that is a step closer. Sorry to go OT.

Drewem--My air switch is that nearly flush button seen in the foreground of my prep sink pic to the right of the faucet. It's simply a counter mounted electrical switch. In this case, it controls the GD. I chose to have one at my cleanup sink also instead of a wall mounted switch, which would have disrupted a little symmetry around the sink and been one more clutter point around which to tile. An air switch can also be used to control other items, like the light over your sink. Very handy; unobtrusive to your bs if your sink is on a wall; almost necessary if your sink doesn't have a wall behind it; and not horribly expensive. Good luck with your BA. Keep fighting for it!

    Sorry for the OT, p.ball.

That sounds really handy! I've never heard of one. I've seen the buttons in a few pics on here, and wondered what they were...

Believe me, I'm trying! Thanks again for the positive thoughts, hopefully it will work out.

Again, sorry for the OT p.ball.

@breezygirl - Is your Faucet a Hansgrohe Talis S or C or something? How do you like it. Any problems after 7 years? - I'm in the market for a modern looking pull down spray faucet - with an aerator). A locking spray switch and a magnetic dock would be nice but not an absolute like an aerator. Thanks.
