If you want a modern vibe I think catmom's glass tile run vertically like hers would look grand! I think it's Artistic Tile. Here's it in a stock photo. For something even more different they also have large format 12x12 or 14x20

Thank you remodelfla! Wish we could've afforded to use it in the bathrooms, too (esp after seeing that gorgeous pic!). That shower looks scrumptious!

I will try and take some pictures. The tile picture is exactly the same as the Korel tile I was thinking about. I hadn't thought of running it vertical. I'm just not sure if it will be too much modern and not enough vintage. grant it, I could probably more easily reverse the effect by bringing in some well thought out accessories for the room.
