First off, I wanted to say THANK YOU to EVERYONE for all of the help! The kitchen is 99% done but I don't want to do a full reveal until it is 100%. I figured this thread would be more of a follow up to my original post asking for help.

I have spent countless hours searching this forum and have used MANY ideas that I found here. The advice that everyone here has given me has been absolutely invaluable!

As per many recommendations on here I got a quote from a custom cabinet maker and it paid off big time! He not only was much cheaper but he was able to build the cabinets with "growing into the kitchen" in mind. Several thing were done with the possibility and/or plan for future changes.

The cabinets were made with plans to add drawers to all of the lowers in the future. I couldn't decide on drawer sizes so he made doors for a few of the base cabinets with the intentions of swapping them out for drawers in the future as I figure out what will best fit my needs. My last kitchen had a total of 4 drawers so I wanted to get use to having more and figuring out what works best for me.

Provisions have also been made so that I can add an externally vented hood if I ever want to, at this time I don't cook so I couldn't justify it but it is nice to know I can add one in the future if I ever want one.

Once again I just wanted to THANK EVERYONE for all of their help, I haven't posted too much but I gotten so many ideas just reading this website.
