Where are you using stools?

Well, if you really want to share, how about where these are available? :)

Ouh, oops. I was so excited about my cab install finally being scheduled that I forgot to say where these stools were! Sorry, jscout! They are for sale at The Foundary website un the "Aged Elements" section. I think the sale lasts through the weekend.

While this is a nice looking style, be aware that 3 legged stools will be more tippy than 4 legged stools. Putting the weight of a person high up would elevate the center of gravity and increase the chance of tipping on something with a poor base of support. Have you noticed that wheeled office chairs have 5 legs, they are more stable than the old 4 legged ones.

We've only ever had backless stools...They can be approached from any angle, and tuck under easier. But good point about 3 vs 4 legs. Cool looking, though!

Backless stools are an abomination after the age of 40, anyways. ;-)

Enduring--excellent point about the 3 legs. Somehow the very practical side of me didn't catch that.

Rhome--you bring up a good point about backless stools being easy to negotiate. For me with my smaller family, I see the benefit of my two little ones being able to more comfortably sit with a back outweighing that point.

Good question, Circus. I just now googled and found the site like this. (link below) Problem is, I'm signed in so the site shows up for me. If I'm getting your question right, I'm assuming that you can't see it unless you sign in? Geez, I didn't know! Again, I'm sorry if this was inappropriate. I've posted about stools before so didn't think twice about it when I found this one.

Since none of us is over 29, there's nothing to worry about.

Breezy, the issue I have with people linking to such sites from a forum like this is that anyone that links to the site using your link and signs in ensures that you get a $10 coupon toward further purchases. if that person then actually buys from the site in the future, i believe you get something like a $50 coupon. it is an old fashioned pyramid scheme.

you have to be upfront about those things when you post such a link.

i do agree that the stool is cool looking that's why i now know about the "trap" in the website.
