Please identify who makes this door/drawer

I've rather fallen for this door/drawer style, for a new built in linen closet.

Note the bead on the top and bottom, but not left and right.

I did post a question to the designer, on the Houzz site.

In the meantime.... if you have come across someone who makes this door/drawer style, I'd love to hear. Ditto the hardware - I think I'd copy as closely as possible. Suggestions welcomed. Thanks!

Wow, I hope you find it, it's beautiful! Did you try a google image search, btw? Nevermind, I just did and got nothing. Hopefully the designer gets back to you.

That is really pretty! But don't let my kids come over and put your towels away---just went into their bathroom closet looking for something. What a great big mess! Certainly not the way I taught them :(

It's probably custom. Dynasty/Omega has a couple of doorstyles with the applied molding on the inside edge like that, but it's on all 4 sides, not just 2. If you can't find it, look there. The Omega fully custom line will do anything you want, including modification to what you show. The outside profiles of the doors are always customizable, as are the drawers.

Thanks all. Deedles, I hadn't tried a google image search, that was interesting. Heidihausfrau - my kids are the same, just substitute bathroom for bedrooms....

Live_wire_oak - I may well have to go the custom route. Thanks for posting the doors. There's a Conestoga Shaker door which is similar, but my sales rep says it can't be customized. Maybe it won't make that much of a difference, with the vertical beads as well.

Does the Madison door I posted match the inspiration door front, otherwise?

Lower image has vertical beads added, still looks lovely.

So key question is - would the Madison door I'm showing, give the same effect or am I missing something important?

It looks to me that the Madison door has a bevelled edge to the outer edge of the door. The inspiration pic edge is squared off. I just looked back at the Madison and it says edge profile L-149, so it does have some type of edge detail to it.

That is a beautiful door & pulls. This type of door reminds me of a shaker type door but the inset is a little bigger. I think you should be able to find a squared off door w/ an inset like this w/out any bead, then you can go & add the bead in yourself. They sell that bead anywhere. I think you could find it at a big box store w/out any problem in the trim section. If you're not a DIY kind of person, any handyman could to that. Just wait to paint after putting it in tho.

angela12345 - thanks, you are right about the edge. I'm really trying to deconstruct what I like about the door so that I can (maybe) duplicate.

bicyclegirl -good point about the inset, yes, it definitely looks large. Thanks for the bead info; I had never thought it could be done by onself. I do want the paint applied professionally so may have to forego that option.

Using dimensions from the picture, I tried to mock up my desired cabinet. How does this look? The upper would be some sort of meta grill which would allow warm air to flow out.

That looks great oldbat! I love the wire mesh look. I'm actually doing that with a pantry door & putting a fabric on the inside. You can find all kinds of this wire/mesh in different metals now. Post a picture after you have this built. I'm sure it'll turn out great. By the way, if you're just doing this one door, that bead is not expensive and it's pretty easy to install. If you need help on how to do it, let me know.

Conestoga will make you that door and drawer in that configuration, if you find an existing door that has the rail/stile proportions you want. But, Conestoga may not have other options that you need, like greater depth, custom width, etc.
They make the doors for Omega Dynasty, for example.

It's indeed beautiful and I may not have noticed for a while that the bead doesn't go all the way around. Curious though why you prefer the bead just at the top and bottom?

Thanks for the 'beading' offer help bicyclegirl. If you have any suggestions for good wire/mesh sources, please post.

Thanks Casey - only issue with Conestoga will be the drawer depth. I've had no problem with ordering greater cabinet depth and/or custom widths. I could order the drawers as a custom piece from someone else.

Hi linelle, I felt the partial bead added interest and was distinctive. Admittedly, I also like my photoshopped picture with both the vertical and horizontal bead.

I think the all around bead looks more finished and traditional. The partial looks a bit more causal. With that hardware I think the look is very traditional so I would vote for the all around beading. I would buy it that way too, not add beading myself. I would have a professional do my cabinet paint, 'cause i'm a slob with paint!

oldbat, I don't have any particular place to get the wire mesh sheets for the cabinet doors yet. I know I'm doing it but I have other decisions to make before I get to that! I may end up just doing a dark colored chicken wire, but will decide later what I end up doing. I have googled numerous times "wire mesh/grille for cabinet doors" & have come up w/ many places that sell it. I want to say you might even be able to order some from one of the big box stores - Home Depot, Lowes, etc. If you have a builders supply store in your area, I bet they either carry it or can order it for you. I've run across one on the internet that is in the UK that has some beautiful ones. Add "UK" to your search & my guess is it'll come up. I'm sure whatever you do will turn out great because the cabinet is such a pretty one!
