The best range hood for a 30' range

I posed this in appliances but didn't get a reply, so trying here...thanks.

First, what a great resource, can't believe I just found it.

So, I'm remodeling my kitchen and have purchased a 30" NXR. Now I need a hood to go with it. It will go on an interior wall with venting to the roof. 10' ceiling, would like it to be stainless and have a chimney. Have considered building a custom wood frame around it...but after that I get lost in the tech details...beyond the general advice to get a unit one size up for the range I have purchased (so, 36").

Suggestions, thoughts, help, greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have a budget? I ask because there are a lot of things out there but they vary in price. For a range like the NXR you want at least 600 CFM. You also want to look at how you clean the hood. I shied away from the vent-a-hood because some reviews indicated they were difficult to clean.

Look at the 36" Kobe hoods with baffles. I much prefer baffles to mesh and find the Kobe hoods quieter than competing hoods, such as Broan, Best by Broan, Zephyr, and Elica.

There is a lot in the Appliances forum, just not a lot of activity over the Holidays...
