Thoughts for those considering copper farmhouse sink

I finally have my sink installed and the plumbing connected. I have a 33" farmhouse copper sink from Sonoran, and I love it, but I wanted to mention a few things for those considering a similar sink.

The sink has about 2" flange all around. Mine was installed with the the flange flush to the countertop, with about 6" of counter space behind the sink, which posed the following issues:

1 - the flange has rounded corners in the back, which required some creativity on the part of my counter fabricator to fill in the small rounded areas in the corners, as apparently it was too small of an angle to carve out of one piece of material; and

2 - the faucets holes are behind the sink, centered front to back in the 6" space. The faucet is perfect and hits almost near the drain, but the soap dispenser doesn't reach into the sink, so you have to make sure you put the sponge under it before pushing on the dispenser. The hot/cold dispenser just barely makes it into the sink and sometimes drips on the flange.

None of these are deal breakers for me, but I if you are considering a farmhouse sink, I wanted to make you aware of these issues and plan accordingly. I have to also mention that I don't know if this would be applicable to the other types of farmhouse sinks, as I think the flange on those is narrower, at least the stainless version I've seen.

I will try to post a picture soon, but in the meantime, feel free to email me if you need more specifics.
