good grief what next....

I just got a call from my husband with a very poor signal, we got cut off after he told me I've had an accident..he was able to call me back a few minutes later....., he ran into the side of a big truck with his work van. The truck pulled out at a very bad/blind intersection and took up the whole road of the narrow country lane that hubby was driving on, he was able to swerve but still caught the front bumper of his mini van on the side of the truck. He's fine, just shook up a little........his defensive driving days of being a policeman paid off. The driver of the truck didn't apologise just said "this is a bad crossing especially when you were coming around the bend".............HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO don't take up the whole road and look for others when you pull out. I'm just glad he's safe.

So glad that your hubby is fine! Although the other driver could have been nicer, the only thing that matters is that your hubby is safe and sound. I know how upsetting getting a call like this can be....so just sit down, take a few deep breaths and relax!!

I'm beginning to think I should NOT have deleted that "good luck" e-mail that said if I didn't send it on to 10 people I'd have back luck............can I go back and send it now or is it too late???LOL

Diane, I'm glad your dh is okay. Gosh, I don't know what to say. I'd tell you to go back to bed and hide under the covers, but your ceiling might cave in on you.

Seriously, I hope your luck turns around soon for the better.

    hugs to you,

no Diane, its not the good luck junk mail that did this, it was the driver that didn't look both ways. I drive country roads every day, I know the crazy things that happen on blind curves and tops of hills.
I'm so glad your dh is ok. You must be very worried about him.

so glad he's safe and thank goodness for his defensive driving! make sure though, he doesn't have any aches or pains tomorrow...sometimes you don't know what's going to hurt the next day...

Just be so very glad that he was not hurt, but I'm sure you really don't need this on your plate now.
