My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

When your best friend hurts!

My BF was hurting, for a heart rendering time, and took her a pint of egg nog ice cream, from Bruester's with toasted pecans, for us to share. Plus we exchanged Christmas presents, as they are heading to Charlotte and then Boston until after New Years.

tee hee, she said, when I arrived with my pkgs, "I knew you went to Bruesters".

Special fun for special friends!

    Yes. BF has a standing invitation for overnight when she can no longer take it at home. She has DH, DD, SIL and 2 grandchildren (one is 6 months old) living with her in a small 3 bedroom house. Sometimes she just needs to escape from them all and tells them they will have to fend for themselves and somehow rustle up something to eat.
    She arrives here worn out, and stressed, and leaves like she has had a mini vacation.
    We cook (sometimes), bake (usually), play games and laugh a lot. We have been BF since the first grade...50 years
