our new house has a navy blue carpet in a bedroom, what color besides white.
Comments (13)Navy goes with practically EVERY color! Hot pink, any shade of purple, mushroom, taupe, any shade of green, orange, yellow, gray, cream....in fact I'm struggling to think of a color that wouldn't work. Use of brighter colors will make the navy fade into a neutral....See MoreColors for kids adjoining playroom and bedroom?

Comments (5)Thankyou very much , Well guess what !!!! the bedding in there picks up the navy blue !!! So now I will get rid of that and try to use lime green with cream white walls. What should I use for window dressing do you think ??? Wood blinds to match furniture or curtains or blinds to match wall colour?? The rooms are 3.0 x2.8m so pretty small....See MoreKid Bedroom: Can it be too colorful?
Comments (2)I think the blue chest is great but I would not add a lot more colored pieces to the space and I would use paint as my friend as he grows and I think a blue wall would be great make it the same color as the chest and it would work well use a neutral for the rest of the walls . A chair in a nice navy colored leather an area rug like sisal with a border in a color and drapes I think I would do a simple roman shade in a stripe with blue , red and yellow. As for wall decals what we did in our boys rooms was a large cork board mounted on the wall and they could add whatever was the thing at the moment to that and saved the walls from tape and nails it was quite large and worked even when they were home from college. The blue wall could be behind that board so not to be too much....See MoreR B
