Our apartment is on the fourth and top floor of our building. By the time you walk up the fifty steps to our abode, you want to catch your breAth- but space is a limited commodity . Our landing is 39"x49".This is a family of six ( two adults, four little kids). We like to keep dirty shoes and boots outside. Wet umbrellas. ( kids school bags would be a bonus. I ( mom of the crew) would like to make this teeny area a bit more welcoming, and polished looking. We can use some more space as well for storage- I was thinking of a narrow enclosed cabinet to store shoes/ boots/ umbrellas.. Something like 4 shelves... And maybe hang a mirror on top.
