Heliconia with red/bronze foliage- botanical name?

I've seen pictures of red/bronze leaved heliconias. They look stunning - almost banana like. Does anyone know the botanical name/s?

    Could it be H.metallica?

I would say it's Mettalica. It is grown for it's folage, the flower is nothing like some of the other Heliconias.
Likes to be in the shade.
I have a small plant which will hopefully take off this coming Summer.
    A very striking plant.

No it is most likely to be a form of Heliconia indica from the South Pacific/New Guinea. I used to grow it in Cairns. The flowers are not very spectacular and as stated it is grown for it's large and attractive foliage. Like the other South Pacific Heliconias it is very sensitive to cold.

Heliconia metallica is generally a smaller growing plant than H. indica.
