Need Name for Cactus + Succulents

I bought this cactus and these succulents a while back from Lowes Hardware. I'm currently trying to catalog my plants and so I would love if someone could help me with the actual names of these. Thank you so much!

PS- I know my cactus is looking a bit awful :( which presents another question. My cactus was doing fine for months. And then all of a sudden it started losing its spines at the top. Does anyone know why? And is this reversible? I looked it up before and it seems like the spines won't grow back once they are lost.
