I need to find a floor for my Bathroom reno in a week. I am going for classic with a bit of glam. Floor to ceiling 3x6 white subway tile, several mirrors and polished chrome. There will be a line of 2x8 black subway tile about a foot down from the 9� ceiling. I have a chrome and glass Hicks pendant which (I think) adds glam as well as mirrors to offset all the white tile. I was thinking galaxy black granite would be very cool, but I don�t think I will get it in time. I wanted it in 12x24 but had to settle for 18x18 (would be set in a diamond pattern). Any thoughts for a classic yet glam floor?

I redid my last Bathroom about 6 years ago, also white subway tile with a white marble basketweave floor and the grout drove me bananas. If I do decide to go with a white marble (non mosaic) floor do you think I should ditch the row of black tile?

Any thoughts that you think could be found readily available would be appreciated (I live in NYC). I am going to a local stone place on Wed to see if I can find something I like that they have in stock (50 sq ft including waste).
