How was the shower bench constructed? Would you use for steam?

    Just remember to install the steamhead as far as possible from the seating area and the entry :)

    Can't use for steam, the shower is not fully enclosed.

    Understand about the enclosure but we are curious is this type of suspended bench is constructed and if it would be a good bet for a steam shower that would be sat on for long periods of time.

    If constructed properly it will be okay to sit on it for long periods of time. You may want to slightly grade it away from the wall so the water doesn't accumulate against the wall(s).
