I have used both California garage doors and Overhead Door glass garage doors with good results.

These have been getting a lot of interest in the last 5 years +/- so more companies are offering them.

Yes, born and raised in Madison and I know exactly where this beautiful home is located! I've also looked at HAAS and Raynor Doors, which seem to be fairly similar. Is there anything that I should consider when going to a glass garage door? I'm a little hesitant going with a garage door that has very little insulation in our climate. Has that been an issue in any of the homes that you've used glass garage doors?

It depends on your garage. Heated / unheated? If heated you would want to go with insulated glass for sure. Also is your garage sloped to drain out under the door, or does it have floor drains on the interior of your garage floor. A sloping slab to drain under the door can cause problems when snow melts off cars, runs out under the door, and freezes, keeping the door from even opening. Many specific conditions to consider when choosing a door.
