How should I hang paintings (prints) over 2 matching chairs?

How do I hang paintings over 2 chairs on either side of a table with a lamp on it. I am totally redoing a room that will be my t.v. room/den. I bought 2 new chairs and now I don't know what to do next. Chairs are pale aqua marine with a cream geometric pattern. Table is faux marble (dark) with dark wood. Legs on chairs are dark wood. I have looked at so many paintings and can't decide on what I like. I would like to incorporate orange in pictures. The walls are painted "Swiss Mocha". Please help. Should I repaint walls?

Art tends to look better in odd numbers. You could hang one large painting over the chairs and table to unite them, rather than two. Fewer art choices that way, too! :-)

The chairs and table together with about 4" of space on either side of table is 93". And, there is a lamp on the table. Will it look odd to have the lamp in the middle of the large painting? How large should the painting be? Would an abstract be the best choice with the lamp situation?
