Looking to find home for seeds and do some swapping ^.^

I can't resist a good buy so at the end of the summer I ended up leaving a store with a bag full of seeds. Problem is that I have a small garden and still have seeds from previous purchases/swaps. I know have over 200 types of seeds 0.o

I don't want them to go bad soo who wants some seeds? If we do not do an exchange, you'll have to cover postage - SASE or paypal. Just tell me what seeds you're interested and how many then I'll weigh it. The list is of all of my seeds including leftovers from previous swaps so just let me know if you want to know the source/year.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Yfk7xgOF8anEF6uyDU3rhyqj8EGv_TBf1eHcd0M0Kjw/edit?usp=sharing

And these are the seeds that I am looking for (in-particularly the Sun/Wonder Berry)

https://docs.google.com/document/d/16V1lO0EC9nIGJsDLzDnWJXMwdkyRJ3JByINLSrbG48c/edit?usp=sharing

Unless it is something that gets broadcast, I usually need about 10 seeds - I don't want to end up with another large collection.

how does one e-mail you cus I can't find that option on your account. I would like to trade you for tomatos/watermelon/sunflower. I have tomatillo and some veggies. If that doesn't work, I can do SASE. Happy Saturday to you!!

well with me having to start over I'd like some of your seeds, check my list or lets do sase?

    greens mizuna
    bean, runner garden sunshine
    nasturtium empress of india
    and/or: nasturtium any
    rossa lunga di tropea onions
    sage pinneapple
    wild flax saphyr
    watermelon blacktail mountain

    melon - amarillo oro

    blue spice basil/ any basil

    lemon mint

    borage
    endive any/ your favorite
(in order of how much i want them in case thats too many!i could actually pick a few more =) but thats a lot!)

this is what i have from your want list:
    Johnny-Jump Up / Viola
    Salsify
    Sun/Wonder berry
    savory
    lamb's quarter
    purslane

as well as my whats on my have list: http://www.houzz.com/gardenWebTradeList/user/leilahamaya

i could do a sase too...if you would prefer...or perhaps theres a few extra things as well as what i listed that you want...

i also have TONS of comfrey.. but i pinch off the flowers/seeds...so it doesnt spread any more! i am also not sure if its the sterile kind...i think its the original, fertile seed kind...any who i have seen it on want lists.... which makes me think next year i will save seeds and test them for viability...but for now all i have to share is root cuttings...which gets bulky for packing...they start readily from cuttings...even leaves, which are great for chop and drop because they suck up nutrients making great mulch fast...but even the single ripped up leaves can sprout roots !

    my gardens · More Info

    ^^^ comfrey ^^^

:P I changed my settings so my email should be reachable now. As long as a swap is happening, I don't mind if I am sending more than receiving - as long as they can be used and not going to waste.

Mary, I do not see anything I can use on your list so a SASE or paypal so you don't have to use up postage to get me the postage.

Hi lunar_owl, I sent you a message. Is your chamomile the roman or german type?

ok, coolio..yeah i am interested in all that and will plant it right away =)
just let me know what i can send to make it worth your trade...i could even send a few extra stamps..or some comfrey cuttings/ some other cuttings...theres stuff i dont list that i could cut....

I'm interested in your pineapple sage, table queen acorn squash, and jalapeño peppers. This is my first year starting from seed, could we do a SASE?

also, not to be pushy or anything, but if you really want to do some SASE offers and get those seeds out to grateful newbies...the adopt-a-newbie thread could use some new adopters/veteran growers.....such as yooper_at_heart who posted above.... who has been on the waiting list a long time.....

You have several seeds I am interested in- but I checked your want list and I don't have anything you want. Are you still doing any seeds for SASE? I could send you postage in a padded envelope. Please let me know!

    Thanks, Jennifer

Morning Everyone, I am still working on dividing the seeds for everyone. Altogether 13 people have contacted me with almost 200 requests *_* so it is taking a bit longer than I thought - story of my life! :P

I hope to finish tonight and message everyone the next night.

On a side note/rant/whine, I am sooo tired of the cold! :( It's has been a bit warmer than I thought it would be after the first two months but the temps are still lower than they should be - high of 34 today. Plus side, most of the snow is gone and I can finally see the garden :-/

Sending you some sun/warmth to you!!

Good 2 hear from you and know time is precious so do what you need to do first.

Please take the time to enjoy the warming weather. You quite kind to offer us the seed at the beginning of spring. Thank you.

Thanks lunar, no worries. The northeast seems to have been hammered with cold/snow this year so hopefully some of our warm Georgia air will creep up the east coast your way.

Wow, that's a lot of requests! Take all the time you need! And thank you for sharing your seeds with us :)

And just remember: the warm weather is coming! I lived in PA not too long ago, so I know how it is up there. I'd always start wayyyy too many plants inside - just so I could be growing things!

I have an aero garden so that's supporting my garden addiction for now. :p

    Hi,

Are you still trading with this post? Looks like you have a lot of interest! Check out my list, if you're still looking for trades. :)

Alright, I started to send emails - I'll finish up tonight after I get home from driving in the snow. First day of spring and we have winter weather advisory -_-

alouyakis, jensyen I've updated the list if you want to take another look. However, I probably won't be putting the packages together until next week.

Everyone have a Good Start to you Spring ^.^

rain here and mid 40's, I wanted to plant some seeds!!

I'll trade you with five inches of snow - I was hoping to finally check on my plants this weekend and see what survived.

And apparently there is a limit on sending messages on houzz, anyone know the details of the limit? -_-?

Message limits? No idea. Did you receive the message I sent? My email - alouyakis@live.com.

Alright, everyone who contacted me initially should have a message from me. Excerpt for jen_frazier, can you please set your messaging so anyone can contact you or message me a regular email. Thanks. ^.^

    Artemis

    Hi,

I would be overwhelmed with all the responses if I were you, so I wasn't sure if you would have time or energy for more responses, but figured you could always look at this later too.

I would like the following if still available:

    fordhook 242 lima beans

    early wonder beet

    giant roman cardoon

    red winter kale

    flamingo swiss chard

    roma tomatoes

    shogoin turnip

I've got Amaranth, 'Mayo Indian' (This grows quite tall, so not sure how much ground space you would need),

if you're interested, although I would make up the difference in postage.

I changed my settings so everyone can msg me.

    Thanks!

    Sincerely,

    Shannon
