Hi Smarter People Than Me... we've just purchased a house and are opening the kitchen to the living/den/breakfast room and considering a minor kitchen remodel at the same time. The cabinetry and surfaces are great, just (imho) needs the counters extended a bit at an angle to allow somewhere for people to sit at a (bar height) counter and change the electric cooktop (ugh) to gas. Think there's room for a small prep sink on that counter extension? Would you do something completely different?
