I have colored pendants in my kitchen. They are the Otto pendant by Tech Lighting. I purchased them at a local lighting store. They are low voltage lights with 50 watt halogen bulbs. They are plenty bright and I love the way they provide both down light and overall room light. They were pricey but I couldn't find any others that I liked as well so I splurged on them. Mine are the smoke color. They come in several other colors to including blue.

Those are beautiful pendants, they really pickup the blue backsplash. Not quite the color I had in mind, but I am going to check the website. Thanks for posting, you have an awsome kitchen. I do love the color though.
