    can you indicate the method you used to attach the corrugated tin to the ceiling? Did you have to put up nail strips first and nail the metal to the strips?

    You can use batten strips ("nailers") or anchor the panels directly to a solid substrate (plywood or OSB sheathing). The panels are attached with screws through pre-drilled holes.

    I did a tin ceiling as a backsplash and I got my panels from Tinceilings.com. They said that if you didn't get a stainless steel panel, they either needed to be painted, or clear coated with automotive clear coat.

    I am doing this in my kitchen. I want to add recessed lights. Can this be done? Im worried about how to make the rings work with the housing sitting higher in the ceiling. The sheetrock + the corrugation makes it a little difficult. Wondering if you had any suggestion
