If by "room lights" you mean simple household lighting used for daily life, almost nothing save for extreme low-light plants finds that acceptable.

If you mean some type of grow light, it depends.

Regular lighting (the lights on your ceiling) will not be nearly enough. If you must grow them inside, fluorescent shop lights with 5000K bulbs (4100K and 6500K bulbs can also be used) are an inexpensive way to supply sufficient light. For a 6 square foot growing area, I'd use six T-12 bulbs (three 2-bulb fixtures), for example. You may be able to grow them in a really bright window, but you'll need to turn them frequently for symmetrical growth.

Do note also-fluorescent lights are great for plant growth, but must be hung as near to the plant as is possible. Hanging a fixture six feet above some plants will offer those plants the same level of usable light as they'd be getting in a dark corner. And what looks "bright" to us is very dark compared to typical ambient light levels out of doors. I guess the biggest question, whenever queries like this come along, is why are you keen on indoor growth, for a plant that is accustomed to normal outdoor light levels?

Thanks everyone for your advise. You know why I grow indoors? Because I am in a weird climate where it is 50s to 60s year round and low 70s in summer, with occasional 75-77F and quite a high humidity. So I heat my office only with a radiator and so I keep my germination plants in my office near a radiator where there is no window... Otherwise they would not germinate as the rest of the house as well as the outdoors is in constant 50s or low 60s Fahrenheit. Summer maybe a bit better and more germination outdoors. As soon as the plants will grow into something like a seedling, I will take them outside, of course.
