Hello all! I started renovating my lawn last season with various treatments, aeration, overseeding, etc. When the snow finally melted here in Louisville, KY my yard looked nice and green with no issues. However, as you can see in the pictures I suddenly have lots of patches of this "weed" that I can only describe as looking like miniature wheat. My lawncare service delayed my pre-emergent and fertilizer application as I recently did a spring overseed. My lawn is tall fescue btw.

Does anybody know what this is and what I can do at this point to get it under control?
