I'm not a fan of corner seats, so I vote for a bench seat. The added benefit of the two vs one is, of course, a couple can shower together more comfortably. :)

A shower bench is a no brainer. The shower bench makes using the shower more enjoyable and does add to any romantic encounters you may have. If you have a wife like mine you better add two shower heads because mine steals all the water.

I have a collection of shower bench photos that I show my clients to help pick a style. The shower bench detail can affect the placement of the drain so its wise to plan the build completely before picking or roughing in the drain.

I actually would vote against wasting space on a shower bench. We put one in in our previous home and never used it. But, if you are going to put one in, 9" is too shallow for all but a small child!

We did have multiple shower heads, and showered concurrently all the time. I wouldn't bother if it will be a one-person shower though.

9" is a foot rest ...are you referring to depth or was that a typo?.......I like to see 18" nominal for a sit down bench.....I think you've only the need for 1 head , perhaps a rain head ...

Absolutely two heads. My DH loves a rain shower head. I HATE it. I like a hard stream of water. We have the rain head in the ceiling and my shower head is on a wand on the wall. I can change the water pressure as well as move it up and down on the wand or hand hold it. We didn't put in a bench and I'm sorry I didn't. Definitely going into our next place.

I like to have two shower heads -- I love the rain shower head when needed -- and a heated bench with the wall behind it . I think lots of things can be accomplished by having a bench in the shower if the space is available , however if you are a fast shower taker , then the bench serves no purpose .
